Vineyard is the new go-to city in Utah. A farm community for over 100 years, it’s seen modest growth and industry, but now is playing a central part in Utah County and posting unprecedented growth.
A few years back someone woke up and said ‘the whole east side of Utah Lake is just sitting there doing nothing!’. Well, really there’s a little more to it than that. Geneva is a master planned project and the residential home growth in Vineyard is just one piece of that.
So in went the Links at Sleepy Ridge golf course (click for a not-so-serious video golf tour!), in went new homes around it, and then the big plans started happening (see the rendering above). The Larry H. Miller group came in and built a Megaplex theater and a handful of home builders like Flagship, Woodside Homes, Garbett Homes, Edge Homes and others started developing between the tracks and the lake.
Brand new town homes and apartments started popping up just a little further east and there is a master plan for the next 5-10 years for adding lakefront beaches and shops, high rise buildings, a skating rink and many more things that will make this area even more desirable.
The city is already building what will be an 18 acre park with soccer fields, splash pads, pavillions and more.
